This is for my usual crew (you know who you are):
At the beginning of April I will be beginning my unit on Rocks and Minerals with my fourth grade class. I am planning to do activities and experiments that require household items. Wanted to know if you would be so kind as to save your egg cartons, shoe boxes and glass jars and pass them on to me.
I would ask the students but I teach in an inner city school district where it is often difficult to ask students to bring in such objects. And I am saving things up myself but I can only eat so many eggs, etc.
If you could help me out, I'd be forever grateful.

Does the type of egg carton matter (styrofoam and cardboard both ok)?
I'll try to gather some stuff up for you.

Are you still looking for some egg cartons? I have several at this point and I know you needed them soon. I'll be at HI Ribs next Tuesday and I'm in Ewing anyway so most of the guys know where I live.

You mean

But that ugly brownish/tan siding had to go. And now we can actually open the windows since we got rid of the old ones that had many layers of paint.

Actually, I think I'm good at this point, but thank you anyway. And thanks Prevo for the rocks. I'll be able to get them back to you by the end of the month. My unit will take about 2 and 1/2 to 3 weeks to teach and I just started. So far the kids are lovin' it.
