well, i just got home after driving for 3hours or more.
i misunderstood the directions that jenny got from mapquest. the way the directions read i thought we should have been looking for exit62 on the parkway, more like we needed exit 157.
sorry we missed everyone. hopefully it was a good turn out and someone got some pics.
we have a great plan for the april meet that will get posted up later tonight or tomorrow. hopefully i will be able to find my way there
also, everyone can expect to receive the first e-news letter for the club tonight.

damn man, again with the ****** directions. Mapquest can be a PITA sometimes.
Like when I went to Rye, NY driving a 24ft. straight truck. The directions were only off by 5 miles putting me in west chester trying to turn around and going under a 12'5" clearance that i thought i was gonna take off the roof. THANX MAPQUEST!!!!!!!

i think the worst part is that jen called and i told her exit 162 (i was thinking off the top of my head) it was actually 159 but u still wuda seen the SADDLEBROOK signs. thats really sad guyz i must say. i wud have expected more from the central crew. worst part is i was in central jersey when she called... haha next time we have a north meet ill drive down and everyone can follow me.. k?! lmao.
Damn central hicks cant understand roadsigns.

wow...62 huh? I guess thats what happens when you dont take the parkway all the time. 62 is very south, I am at exit 102/100A, and Toms River is 82.

:stupid: nothing matched any roadsigns...even turning onto midland didnt have any signs we just kinda guessed right...but yah the whole 62 thing wtf happened there...thats 2 months in a row guys. Dave & I made it up there no problem...although i use yahoo's maps since they've rarely let me down :)
Yahoo maps is powered by mapquest. Food for thought.

north jersey is nothing but roadsigns and asphalt. the other northerners will agree with me on that one.

im sure we all feel much better knowing that :naughty:
i still cant understand how you guys went south. lol...didnt you realize when you got on the parkway it said "parkway south"? secondly that fact that the snow was probably getting less and less should have made you think. im sorry but i still think its funny, no offense. lol. Ever consider GPS? ok ill shut up now. but anyway... I had fun at the meet, my first one since it was finally in northern nj. Im not sure if ill be able to make the next two, but i will sure be at the next northNJ one if its at bennigans again, there was more than enough parking and good food i thought. And how about this...next north jersey meet, I will personally make up directions and make sure everyone on the list to attend recieves them, that way there will be no confusion.
oh, and tim and justin, let me know about those parts you wanted, I go back to work in about a week and i need to know whats going on with them. I had the driveshaft with me today even.

Ahaha...yeah, good points.
Exit numbers going up means North
Exit numbers going down means South.
Should have taken the turnpike to the park way.

I second SmokingSS's bid to do bennegins again for a N. Jersey meet. I was also supprised at the size of the lot, the good prices, and the good food.

Yea, yea.....so maybe we aren't the best at reading maps. But at least I figured out that we were being led in the wrong direction when we passed the exit for Monmouth Univ.
SmokinSS - I still want the driveshaft, and I think Tim is still planning on buy some parts too (not sure of your deal with him). If that's the case, I'll prolly rip my dad's truck one night and we'll head up to your area (with good directions).

maybe next time you guys should just take rt 1 NORTH to the turnpike...thats the way i took to cartek & worked fine for me:shrug: maybe a little simpler to understand...just follow the signs for north and you'll all make it next time hehe

Getting to the turnpike wasn't an issue...the directions we had said to take the turnpike --> rt.80 --> the parkway north. The problems started when we got off the turnpike WAY before rt. 80......
