Ok, i need to know what required to turbo a 4th gen 3.4l v6. I possibly have a chance to grab a 97 3.8 drivetrain so i'll use that if i get it. (I'm trying to track down a GN motor but it doesnt look too good or cost efficient) But either stock motor 3.4 or 3.8, my questions are basically the same.
First, turbo size ... I assume any stock turbo would be fine for me, im not looking for record breaking power. But what sizes are out there, for example, what do stock eclipses have, GNs, etc. I also considred using 2 daytona small turbos and running twin turbo(for looks too)
Second, how would I adjust the fuel to richen under boost? I would get a boost controller but is there a simple way to hook it up toi a 3.4 or 3.8? Can I add on an adjusstable fuel regulator or such?
As far as piping and exhaust goes, thats not a problem at all. Most of my friends have turbo imports so i can salvage many IC pipes and down pipes to build an IC setup. I'd use a y pipe to bring both exhaust sides into the turbo mounted in front of the v6, then back out single and to the muffler. Oh and if i blow up the motor..oh well...lol
