sucks i gotta work tomorrow, im normally off saturdays

NJSPEEDER 03-23-2007 06:18 PM

i am sure we will still be there and i know there will still be plenty of good food to enjoy. :)

TransAm619 03-23-2007 06:19 PM

ok.. so hypothetically speaking of course,

if i make it down, and spots are available... would it be arite if i hypothetically dynoed with extremely bald tires or is it not worth cause they'll spin?

NJSPEEDER 03-23-2007 06:32 PM

you can make the pulls. the load isn't so huge that the tires would have any troule gripping unless they are bald and greased up.

ss01layinwheel 03-23-2007 07:01 PM

are we running in order of the list on page one or is it first come first serve???

pulls are done in whatever gear is closest to 1:1 ratio...in most manual transmissions thats 4th. i doubt you can spin your tires in 4th from a roll:wink:

by order of everyone who was there last year, KASEY GOES LAST!!!!!! :p

lookin forward to seeing everyone up there.

I'd like to be added to the list for pulls....are they going to play with tuning at all (I'd wait till the end if need be) and can I bring my buddy with his Stang for the 3 pulls? We're paying cash tomorrow.

NJSPEEDER 03-23-2007 07:55 PM

you can show up and pay there if there is time. no tuning will be going on tomorrow, it is jsut power pulls. there is a chance they will allow something at the end, but their new location has a fairly early noise curfew, so i am not sure. you would have to ask once you got there.
your friend is welcome to join in the fun too.

ar0ck 03-23-2007 08:08 PM

I'll be showing up last minute so count me in for a dyno.

BigAls87Z28 03-23-2007 08:08 PM

Hey, make that Alex + 2. Guy I work with has a friend with a 87 GTA that wants to go. I think Pete, guy I work with, might dyno, but the other 2 will deffinatly be there.

a very reliable source of mine called me approx 1 hr 30 mins ago and said that the dyno is broken!

NJSPEEDER 03-23-2007 08:40 PM

there doesn't seem to be any confirmation of that yet. unless we post up otherwise, everything is a go. jsut keep an eye on the thread in case something changes.

WayFast84 03-23-2007 09:43 PM

Any one from my way going? Can I bum a ride??

Blacdout96 03-24-2007 12:04 AM

Wow Im so confused on mapquest, i got two different areas of passaic with van houten ave. i dunno which one to go to. one is near blaine st. the other is spring and river dr. anybody help me wiht htis cause ive never been up to this area, you northies gotta help me with this one.

Savage_Messiah 03-24-2007 12:21 AM

misterjuice 03-24-2007 12:39 AM

i'll go to hang out

ChickenLittle 03-24-2007 02:08 AM

thanks!

Savage_Messiah 03-24-2007 06:38 AM

I'll be calling someone around 11 - 11:30 for directions.

EchoMirage 03-24-2007 07:54 AM

van houten is very long. its actually passaic park, not passaic or clifton. if youre looking at a map, its right off broadway, withing a few blocks. youll be traveling west on van houten, and it will be on your left, set back about 20ft off the street. just make sure youre looking at the right section of van houten, and youll find it. im sure you can call TTP for directions too.

EchoMirage 03-24-2007 07:55 AM

added note.....any truth to the rumor of the dyno being broken?
