by the way your car sounded when you left, it looks like your clutch will be faulty soon lol

To those who had DR's, didnt wanna drive 85 miles in a lil rain and crybabies who hate the rain http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...topwhining.jpg

Im sure those who showed up can agree that yall missed out on an awesome time! me and my fellow southern members drove 153 miles in the rain, and one of our members was from capemay, nj which is even farther. 2 of the 4 who drove up were on drag radials. and no i dont want a cookie or a medal. im just saying its very possible to drive in those conditions

Thanx again TTP and TTP family for another excellent dyno day. you guys kick ass!

Demonicbird00 11-16-2008 01:07 PM

ron what did you put down

98tadriver 11-16-2008 01:23 PM

329/348 which i dont get.. last year i put down 342/362 and my friends car with the same exact mods, minus a LS6 intake put down 340/350 something at dyno day

N2O pulls- 428/499 which wouldve been a lil higher if my N/A numbers were higher

Jersyboyy 11-16-2008 01:25 PM

Lol matt Im sticking to what I just stated but it wasnt all that serious drunky mcdrunk :)

i ran 11.8 @ nearly 117mph with these mods 4days prior to dyno day. that doesnt translate to 328hp and 348tq lol

Neither he nor I were making excuses about his car, i was just comparing his car to mine.

my car last year, full bolt ons, untuned 342/362
my car this year, full bolt ons, tuned 328/348

his car this year, full bolt ons, no LS6 intake, tuned 340/350

im going to look over my car and then run it tuesday night.

LTb1ow 11-16-2008 01:34 PM

AHAHa yea and Jerseybyy ran a 13.5 or something on 185....

i had the same problem with ttp's dyno it said we made 390rwhp. and i went 10.38 @127. and then that same engine trans and gear ratio made 491 rwhp on sick speeds dyno. that made alot more sense.

NJSPEEDER 11-16-2008 03:16 PM

These is also some percentage that everyone would have been down on power yesterday because of the air. Humidity doesn't burn, it is false cyl pressure and wastes volume. I wouldn't say that accounts for the entire difference in what some people saw, but it is a factor.

TTP's dyno might be reading low compared to others. My 2000 SS with A4, longtubes, dual cats, lid and tune made 320 back in May. I can't see Ron's car being only 9 hp more than mine and he has the M6 and no cats. Ron, do you have the LS6 intake as well?

Tim, did you dyno?

Comparing numbers from two different types of dyno's will pretty much always be way off. Especially a Dynojet vs. a Mustang Dyno.

Ron's numbers are definitely off somewhere though, since both sets of numbers that he posted were put down on TTP's dyno.

Ron, did you have a 12 bolt rear in the car when you dyno'd previously?

sweetbmxrider 11-16-2008 05:01 PM

ethanol? or was that already around last year?

no, i still had the 10bolt then. and this time i had a 10bolt in lol.

ls6 intake as well

ive got a lid, k&n, stock ported tb, LS6 intake, longtubes, ORY, 10series flowmaster, UD pulley, and a tune.

i guess id rather dyno a lil low and know my car makes more power instead of dynoing high and making less lol. but it sure wouldve been nice to see like 350/365 N/a and 450/500+ on the 100shot lol

not by 100hp, ive seen them vary from 10-30hp at most.

Fixed that part for ya buddy. lol

Your car was definitely one of the meaner sounding bolt on cars I have ever heard. Is the muffler clamped on or welded? Wish I had thought of it when we were up there, if it was clamped maybe we could have dropped it to see how the muffler effected power compared to the straight pipe and cut out you had last time it was dyno'ed.

NJLT1SS 11-17-2008 01:41 AM

OK, then Im not doing too bad. I made 418 RWHP and 396 FTLB's with an AFR of almost 10 to 1. My brother took a video of my dyno run, I gotta get it uploaded.

lol thanks! it was clamped on. i actually thought about taking the muffler off for the 2nd pull, but i figured i had my timing tricker mod wired wrong, and it was pulling 3-4* of timing the whole time, and found out it was ok after all lol.. i wish i had alot of money so i could have my own dyno. id mess around with so many different combinations of parts!

Who setup your single plain for you?

NJLT1SS 11-17-2008 03:29 PM

I had the single plane worke done at Cerelli's Competition Engines in Paterson.

Looks real nice, what did you redline at on the dyno?

NJLT1SS 11-17-2008 03:36 PM

I had them do the pulls up till 6200, where it looks like it was leveling off.

PS - How do you post an image full size in a thread?
