Wrapped in a towel and laid ever so gingerly in the back....

LS1ow 12-15-2016 09:26 AM

Perfect. Ordering it up today then.

ar0ck 12-15-2016 09:32 AM

I picked up the Summit battery kit, its a pretty good piece of kit, but you need to pick up a second thicker gauge wire to be NHRA legal. Pairing that with a flaming river switch, its all mocked up in my car, just not bolted down.

sweetbmxrider 12-15-2016 10:24 AM

Technically I still have mine but my buddy might want it? I dono, just get one. I ordered high quality 1/0 stereo wire off of ebay, like 50 feet, and ran the way I wanted to.

LS1ow 12-15-2016 11:02 AM

The wiring I'll be running myself once I get closer to firing day. I just want to start to get what I can situated.

After I finish weight reduction and swapping center consoles there's not much left for me to do besides little stuff like battery box and swapping carpets.

...until my motor and trans become available

sweetbmxrider 12-15-2016 11:26 AM

If the box fits in the spare well I want it there, if it doesn't it's going in the Ttop well. Apparently it fits in the spare space, I guess it's a lot bigger than what I have in my head.

As for the cut off switch I will be going dead center of the Berger. I'm not really a fan of the push/pull rod, so I will be going with a traditional switch. And since I snapped the key off in the lock cyl and have to remove it anyway, I'm gunna run it there. I've seen it center on a few cars, Kohler's being one of them, and I like it.

No "to punish and enslave" sticker on mine though. Poll for which saying to put there instead will go live later in the build :bertstare:

LS1ow 12-19-2016 12:59 PM

Just make sure there is a big gulp in the exhaust on first start.

Actually tried to on saturday but BLS, of all people, was voice of reason

Jersey Mike 12-21-2016 08:38 AM

Admittedly, I was egging him on.

To clarify, I said you need to check with your build Engineer. I also would like to see this project get to a first start and successful pass vs forever build status.
