Work got power in the middle of the night.

Got gas yesterday in the morning with the truck. Then later last night with the SOM, no problems both times.

Hamilton appears to be returned, mostly, to normal. Went to Wawa and there was power at all the stop lights there, and the Shell station at the corner was getting fuel.

Thanks for the link, Scott. I was able to get the best picture yet of my inlaws place on LBI. Also checked out my wife's best friend's place in Harvey Cedar.

FIcamaroRE92 11-02-2012 06:01 PM

LTb1ow 11-02-2012 09:16 PM

And now it seems the ugly part of storms comes out, looting, mayhem, and the blame game.

Wow great link Scott. Its crazy when doing some areas with the before/after...

BonzoHansen 11-02-2012 10:07 PM

the amount of water still there is nuts. lake como spills all the way across Spring Lake Little League right to the tracks and a block or 3 out north & south

WayFast84 11-03-2012 07:51 AM

Still no power. It's not bad besides freezing at night. I'm really hoping we have power before the snow I've been hearing about.

sweetbmxrider 11-03-2012 02:56 PM

Power came back just a little while ago.

Featherburner 11-03-2012 02:58 PM

My dad got power back about 20 minutes ago.

Up to 136 hours logged in at my pd, and still going. Point beach was not hit as bad as other towns, but its a disaster here.

jeez man thats insane... i went in to help for a few hours during the storm but thats about it

Featherburner 11-04-2012 01:35 PM

Well, my dad was able to get to his place in Toms River/Gilford Park area. The water was about 8" from flooding the house! Luckily, the house was high and dry! His outside shower room where all the mechanicles are wasn't so lucky! That had about 20" of water in it. He might have to replace the water heater, well pump, and the furnace but he considers himself lucky after seeing some of his neighbors places!

Anti_Rice_Guy 11-05-2012 08:41 AM

Home and shorehouse still without power. JCP&L just started assessing our area, and Schooley's Mountain road is FINALLY open in both directions.
