250 miles later and many many pulls oil pressure went to 20 pounds at idle 50 cold.
but today it went to 0 and when reved to 3k it would go up to 10. no clanking or knocking. the sending unit is new. but looked ****** to begin with(got it at a local parts store).

anyways, going to pick up a manual gauge tomorrow. is there anywhere else i can hook it up to or has to be behind intake?
if its bad then i wouldnt know where to look but change the factory stock oil pump.

at time of rebuild i wasnt able to put on the melling high pressure/volume pump. the double timing set made the pump come further back which caused the cover to not sit correctly.
does anyone know of a pump that i can get that will let the cover sit?

Are you relying on the stock cluster for these readings?

Sounds like it.
