my caddy STS threw a "shift ratio b error", turned out i shattered a shifter solenoid in the trans. so you probably have a stuck solenoid or something.

when it says performance, it basically means that the solenoid is not performing like it should be.

if he upped the pressure, it could just be the computer not understanding the new shift points properly.
