This encyclopedia is like the Bible for lifting lol, if anyone wants to borrow it let me know my copy is just sitting on my shelf.

Good for lifting, muscle diagrams, and such bot not good for diets IMO. Info is too dated.

LTb1ow 06-11-2009 12:30 PM

You mean Gaspari's brand. Never used it, but his stuff is always "fringe" so it probably works. Ron is talking about Universal Nutrition's stuff, and that works well too (or so I've been told).

LTb1ow 06-11-2009 12:50 PM

Well would it make any sense to stick to one brand?

Or can you mix and match?

I don't think it matters.

LTb1ow 06-11-2009 12:55 PM

Ok cool.

Will that just add water weight or actual muscle mass?

98tadriver 06-11-2009 12:58 PM

im no universal nutrition nutswinger by any means  but it worked really good for me and my friends who used it. u can stack that with your superpump250. mix and match all u want lol. here's their site- www.animalpak.com

pretty dry gains with that stuff. you will gain muscle mass and keep it :)

LTb1ow 06-11-2009 12:59 PM

If it works, then thats all I need to know.

so you take it with the superpump or later that day type of deal?

lol nah when i say "you can stack them," i mean u can take em both, not necessarily at the same time, but whenever it says to take em. I believe i took the animal stak and sp250 pre workout though. i was taking the animal pump pre workout as well. its easier to swallow some pills with my preworkout meal than drink 12 oz of sp250 (even tho it worked good) this way i didnt feel so full lol

LTb1ow 06-11-2009 01:06 PM

I will look into that.

It will make me more bulky?

98tadriver 06-11-2009 01:18 PM

a huge part of making you more Bulky is in your genes, if your family is relatively small (body size wize) than no. just look at your father and your grandparents.

On a non Olympic size bar, what kinda weight should it be ok too? Not breaking or anything I am more concerned with the bar bouncing.

Around 250. Past that it will start to bend. Too much weight and you can permanently bend it.

You could have used the money you spent on your X-Pipe for an Olympic set

Heh. Yeah, couldn't let it pass. Seriously though, if you are getting up there in poundage go for an olympic set. Even the cheap sets from Dick's or Sports Authority are better than a standard set.

LTb1ow 06-15-2009 02:27 PM

Yea its kinda visible now that the bar is bending a tad and I am not at 280 yet.

Just sucks to have to ditch a full set of weights to get another set of weights... ah well, pay to play.

Think of your current weight set as a 10 bolt. You built up around it but it was flawed by design.

LTb1ow 06-15-2009 03:17 PM
