looks like she turned out really good

bigz28man 10-26-2012 04:14 PM

Thanks man, she is coming along real nicely, better than i anticipated. Mouse just finished the front bumper yesterday. Mouse also informed me that he got alittle behind with collision work which was no problem seeing that I'll be possibly stuck at my PD with this approaching storm.

Well guys the car is 99% complete all that is left to do is put the silver front bowtie on, the rear and fender badges, and front marker blackouts. Bringing her home tomorrow before the next storm comes our way. Here are some photos I took today I'll upload more photos tomorrow.

Cut out the middle of the rear valence and it look much better IMO

maroman88 11-20-2012 05:59 PM

DAT ASS

bigz28man 03-25-2013 06:09 PM

Got some caliper covers for the Z. Here are some before and after photos I took of the rear calipers. I still have have to put the fronts on. Now that I think about it I should have gotten the ones that have "camaro" engraved into them. Oh well I guess the SS will get that.

Turned out incredible!

bigz28man 05-16-2013 12:11 AM

Need help chasing a demon in this lt1 of mine. Brought the car back to tunetime today. After changing all the plugs, new plug wires, new O2 sensors, and header gaskets. The car is running extremely rich on the driver side. The car has crazy throttle response with no load to it but under load its misfiring and being lazy. I'd like to rule out opti but matt and everyone else seems to be puzzled by this. Would the tps not at the right voltage cause these issues. Oh the car did make just over 360 rwhp, but Matt says it should make much more.

sweetbmxrider 05-16-2013 06:55 AM

What is the tps voltage at? What is the fuel pressure at? What are the o2's reading?

deadtrend1 05-16-2013 07:01 AM

Check to be sure injector and plug wires are all not crossed?

bigz28man 05-16-2013 11:58 AM

All the wires have been checked and are in the proper location, Adam sorry man i dont have those numbers for you, thats something Matt had at but i didnt get

bigz28man 05-16-2013 11:37 PM

quick update. readings on O2 sensors coming out normal, fuel pressure is normal, i did find out that I had injectors 6 & 8 mixed, they were properly relocated and for some reason that fixed the rich reading from +50 % to + 30% on left bank. tps reading .95 volts, this still needs to be adjusted down but thoughts are nothing will change. here are both dyno pulls

second pull

Damn I'm good. Congrats on the fix.

bigz28man 05-27-2013 01:09 PM

well guys the Z is finally done (for now). I have to say I cant be happier. Turned out it was not the opti after all, just alot of little things working against the motor. the future will bring a 24x kit to the car, but that will be when the opti does go. maybe then I'll procharge the car. Here is its finale pull.

Sounds great.

sweetbmxrider 05-27-2013 06:32 PM

Those numbers are much more appropriate. Congrats on getting it all sorted! Go enjoy it now!
