yeah but dude its not like he's driving the car yet. he has the luxury of doing things piece by piece. i say drop it and put some shocks on it and then worry about all those other suspension parts.

trashman01 01-29-2006 09:37 AM

idk maybe its me, i rather have the supporting compents in place be4 i did the main part. like for the lowering part i rather have the panhand bar, LCAs, Relocation brackets and torque arm in be4 i got the springs and stuff

Ian 01-29-2006 04:39 PM

he has two years before he can drive it legally, he's got plenty of time to piece it together.

V 01-29-2006 05:02 PM

its also an 84 stock 305 car...i dunno if id go crazy with the suspension regardless, just put lowering springs for a nicer stance, and new shocks for a better ride, and deal with it until its a daily driver. yeah lca's, panhard, reloc. brakcet and tq would be nice but not definately needed, i sorta doubt wheel hop is a problem now anyway. once some motor mods get under way or it actually hits the road, then worry about those things.

WayFast84 01-29-2006 05:10 PM

it has some traction problems...it hits the road now and then.... like friday it was on the parkway coming home from the mechanic...of coarse it was bumper to bumper...

BigAls87Z28 01-29-2006 06:39 PM

anyways....lol, back on topic, Matt, if you want then, then do reloction brackets fro your stock lower control arms and a panhrad bar for now along with lowering springs, lcas and a tq would be the next step then in the future

Ian 01-30-2006 12:45 AM

I'm glad you asked that Billy

when I was a sophomore in high school, I went out skateboarding on Halloween. I stopped by my friends house and we were tormenting some bats with rocks. We would throw the rocks in the air and the bat thought it was food, so they would chase after it. we got bored after a little while and decided to leave. as we were skating back to my house, something hit me kinda hard in the side of the head, kinda near my temple. I stopped and asked if anyone threw something at me, cause it kinda felt like something sharp, but soft and a little fuzzy at the same time. No one threw anything at me and I start looking around and I see a couple bats flying around over head. Great, a ****ing bat hit me in the face.

I get home and I told my mom what happened and she looked at my face and I had an inch long scratch right on my temple. I put some neosporin on it and went to sleep.
the next day in school, I just bought my lunch and my friend curt (curt86iroc) comes running over to me and says, "you're mom's looking for you, you have to go to the hospital." So I take mu lunch and go to the office and sure enough, there's my mom.

So we drive to the hospital and I fill out a few forms then I get seated in a large room with a bunch of hospital chairs. the doctor comes in and tells me that I'm going to have to get a few shots because the bat may have been rabid. they tell me I have to get some shots in my arm and a few "local" shots. What are local shots you ask? they are shots directly at the wound site....my temple! So I ask if there is another way they can do it. The doctor tells me I can get 13 shots in my stomach. F that, I'll go with the first one. So they go to get the shots and a girl about my age gets seated across from me. her problem is that she got a peper cut and it wont stop bleeding. she got a band-aid put on and that was that. the doctor comes back with the shots and proceeds to stick the first one in my face an inch or so left of my left eye. as they do this I look over at the girl with the paper cut and she is just staring at me. So now I'm embarrassed, but not for too long because my face is starting to get very hot. For those of you who have never gotten rabies shots (presumably all of you) the burn like a mother****er! so that whas shot one, I had five more to go on my face. at one point it hurt so bad my eyes started to roll back and tears just ran down my face. once that was over, I had a large lump of rabies vaccine on the side of my face that I had to massage for a few minutes while they went and got the other shots. They come back and I get one in each shoulder, not bad compared to the face. then I'm told to turn over onto my stomach and drop my pants! I then get a shot in each ass cheek, those suck!
After that I had to get follow up shots every week at a doctors office and they alternated wich arm it was in each time. rabies vaccine is hot pink, did you know that?

so thats my story, hope ya liked it cause I couldnt have made up a better story if I tried!

BigAls87Z28 01-30-2006 01:13 AM

dude...dude seriously i couldnt get my hand away from the left side of my face while reading that. As of 5 mins ago, I was REAL hungry, not anymore. Thats ****ing sick, and now my temple hurts.
