thank you!

Z28 Heritage 04-25-2006 08:14 PM

I plan on being there...

Tango Two 04-25-2006 10:23 PM

Direction to the Sears/On-The-Border Lot:
It is located on Route 1 southbound, just south of Route 18 interchange.

From the NJ Turnpike:
Get off at Exit #9.
Once you go through the Tollbooth, keep right, onto to Route 18 north.
Once on Route 18, get over to the left, (following signs for Route 1 south), bear left around the curve, then get over to the right once on the bridge and take the ramp on the right to Route One south.
Once on Route One south, the Sears/On-The-Border Restaurant is right there on the right, right at the end of the ramp. We meet up in front of the SEARS Auto Center.

If for some reason your running real late or anything and miss us, if you keep heading south on Route 1, the Car Show will be down on the left about 1 mile past the Sears.

Hey guys,
I was the guy behind the scenes that got us involved in this car show about 7 years ago. I've been going for about 9 years now. As some of you know, I traded my Z for the car pictured it's a 1970 Cutlass SX (it's more rare than a 442, and some of the older guys could probably verified that for me). The car has a 455 V8 4bbl carb, 3.23 posi, and lots of other things I can show you guys at the show. I hope that's okay if I meet up with all of you at Sears even though it's an A-body? Let me know. I look forward to seeing everyone at the show.

Sincerely,
Dan Maldonado

Thats ok,im just finishing up restoring my A body chevelle ss.The more the better

JL8Jeff 04-26-2006 09:04 PM

So Ron, which car are you bringing to C&R Sunday?

dan30thz28 04-26-2006 09:44 PM

Jeff,
So, what do you think of my trade? I've always wanted a '70 Olds, so I was able to part with the '97 30thZ28. What vehicle are you planning on bringing there? I look forward to seeing you, it's been ages!

Sincerely,
Dan Maldonado

JL8Jeff 04-27-2006 07:09 AM

Looks like a sweet ride Dan. The 70 Cutlass SX is a very limited production option so it should hold it's value pretty good. My brother's friend had a 70 Cutlass SX convertible in high school. It was an old race car with a dual gate shifter. That car was scary fast even loaded with people. He blew up the motor and eventually they sold the car to a collector in Japan! My 69 still isn't done so I'll be bringing my 96 SS.

dan30thz28 04-27-2006 07:39 AM

Jeff,
Cool! Looking forward to seeing you at the show with the new "old" ride.

Sincerely,

dan30thz28 04-27-2006 04:49 PM

Hey,
Looking forward to checking out the Chevelle. See you there!

Sincerely,

Rich189 04-27-2006 06:37 PM

cutlass looks awsome.... cant wait to see it there

dan30thz28 04-27-2006 07:22 PM

Rich,
Yeah I've wanted the car since I was like 12, so it's truly a blessing to have a car like that while I'm relatively young. I'm looking forward to seeing all the other sweet cars that will be there. Thanks for the comment, it's greatly appreciated!

Sincerely,

Rich189 04-27-2006 07:51 PM

anytime man, beautiful cars always deserve compliments especially rare ones

Yea jeff, you know the first thing i noticed was that some idiot drilled holes in those fenders for the Z/28 emblems. what kind of person would do that to that car? 100k isnt worth it,im guessing about 70k not wanting to hijack a thread so I will see all at sears sunday morning.

NJLT1SS 04-28-2006 02:04 PM

I might just have to dust off the SS Saturday, and meet up with you guys Sunday morning. What time does the show officially start and end?
