yeah, chrome moly is fine for the street, its those spherical rod ends that are a little rough for everyday use.

can you elaborate on that? now thanks to jon aka badchevelle, i'm ragingly obsessed with drag racing and i'd like to start doing some little suspension mods here and there to get some extra traction. yeah so whats the problem with those sphere rod ends or whatever their called?

rod ends can be noisy on the street. they don't make the car ride any worse, just some more noises you can listen to while you go down the street.
rod ends also require a little more attention and upkeep than a bushing. you shoudl make sur ethey are still riding clean and give them a little shot of lube about once a month if you use them on the streets.
