i was going to have a party at my place, but cant really afford to be a host. last year i had an awsome time. 1/4 sticks and a ton of fireworks across the street (makes cleaning up easy when you dont own the property) lots of people, beer/drinks, games, music. good time. except for the first time i met my ex-girlfriends dark side. she got drunk and went crazy. the next day i invited everyone back over for mamosa's (sp), then went to the mummers parade and partied some more in south philly. this year i'll have to crash someone else's party. :w00t: :headbang: :barf: :toast:

last year i had the party at my apartment and well ya know how you usually invite more people than you think will show up so your sure to have a good amount of people there? yeah well every damn person i invited showed up. im talking 40-50 people in an average size 1 bedroom w/den apartment! my place was ****ed! two kegs in the tub, a whole table filled with bottles of alcohol that people brought over, and plenty of other unmentional goodies. let me tell you how much fun cleanup was the next day...i had 3 people on my couch until 7pm the next night!

bitchincamaro 12-21-2005 09:01 AM

haha, it sucks at the time cleaning up, but party stories are always good and usually well worth it. one new years day i thought i was dieing on my buddies couch. i couldnt get up for more then 10 minutes with out throwing up. i spent the day watching mythbusters till about 5. god damn dr. mcgillicutty. he ****ed me up that night. :barf: new years is probably one of my favorite holidays.

Tru2Chevy 12-21-2005 10:20 AM

I'll be with the rest of the Ewing crew, partyin' it up like always.

Al, you aren't going to bring the gf up for some fun this year? Or are you afraid that she'll be jealous of your "relationship" with the older ladies.....?

I haven't done anything for New Years in a long time. I don't like driving that night if I've had anything to drink at all. It's not worth the risk. Plus, I usually end up at work on Jan 1 and I wouldn't be able to function with a hangover. Last year I was at work for 4-5 hours Jan 1st then went home and played 9 holes of golf.

bitchincamaro 12-21-2005 04:21 PM

i hear you not wanting to have drink then drive, even if its only one. thats why i dont like going to a bar on new years. house parties are the best.
