Jessica by The Allman Bros
Master Of Puppets by Metallica
Devil Went Down To Georgia by Charlie Daniels Band (AWESOME to blast at stop lights )
Motorbreath by Metallica
Freebird by Lynyrd Skynyrd

pretty much any of the faster paced metallica songs work for me...

i keep my ipod in my car, and if im driving on the highway, i play my disturbed playlist. if im driving on wide, open streets, i play my techno playlist. if im just in the mood for some good music, ill put on godd lee (santino/saint). i listen to whatever really. as someone else said, as long as it has a good beat and keeps me awake, ill listen to it.

Leslie West is a mad man on the guitar. He is probably the #1 influence on Eddie Van Halen

Oh yeah, the topic at hand...

So many great driving songs...
Highway Star & a lot of Deep Purple is great, almost anything by Anthrax or Iron Maiden. Damn, the list is endless.
Big Block (Jeff Beck)

Trampled Underfoot – Led Zeppelin (especially live)

Greasy slicked down body, groovy leather trim
I like the way you hold the road, mama, it ain't no sin

Trouble-free transmission, helps your oil's flow
Mama, let me pump your gas, mama, let me do it all

Dig that heavy metal underneath your hood
Baby, I could work all night, believe I've got the perfect tools

A model built for comfort, really built with style
Specialist tradition, mama, let me feast my eyes

Factory air-conditioned, heat begins to rise
Guaranteed to run for hours, mama it's a perfect size

Groovin' on the freeway, gauge is on the red
Gun down on my gasoline, I believe I'm gonna crack a head.

Come to me for service every hundred miles
Baby, let me check your points, fix your overdrive

Fully automatic, comes in any size
Makes me wonder what I did, before we synchronized

Feather-light suspension, coils just couldn't hold
I'm so glad I took a look inside your showroom doors

Oh, I can't stop talkin' about love

BigAls87Z28 01-25-2006 05:28 PM

i like when people stop hi jacking my name.

slayerxxx213 01-25-2006 05:46 PM

For me if it's Slayer, old Metallica (Kill-Justice), Pantera...Anything along those lines kicks ass. I like any good thrash...I like alot of death metal as far as the music goes, but many times I just can't stand that vocal style, (not into the cookie monster thing, lol). The current favorite right now though, is Lamb of God's "Ashes of the Wake"....It's been a favorite for a while now but that could change soon when Slayer's new cd comes out ;)
