Atco, cecil, grove, island (maybe).

atco or island would by my first choices, a street night at cecil is always a good time too.
the insurance is set to be back on the car a few days before the march meet(in time to dyno :D). so anytime from the first week in april on i plan to be ready to run everybody :)
i think a sunday T&T at atco would be best. usually a reasonably small crowd so we can get all of our grudges in.

NJ Speeder & onefast383 - I got slammed on smallblockposse cause of one person, Steve (itstock). If you REALLY think my car is a trailer queen, just ask Joe (camaroracer). The only reason there are no time slips yet is cause I didn't:
#1 have the time to get to the track last year
#2 didn't have the right brakes on it so the car would stop at the end of the 1/4

If you really think my car can't hang, again, ask Joe. Took him and some others for a ride. Also, I never claimed to have the fastest car out here, although, I will tell you that my car will hang with Jeff's in the 1/4. As for me having the balls to run my car, after the wilwood's are on, the chassis gets certified, the net and chute go on, we'll see who actually has balls enough to run with me.

And all of this coming from one guy who's best is an 11.65(onefast383) and another who doesn't even have HIS time posted (njspeeder).

Now put that in your pipe and smoke it:omg:

Heres something u can put in your pipe and smoke on....... yeah my car went 11.65 with a broke TA bent corssmember and not hitting the go fast juice till 2nd ....... and i dont have 20,000.00 maybe wrapped up under my hood to run 10s.... And my car is a DAILY DRIVEN STREET CAR! drive it to work.....the mall..... etc..... dont get parked in a garage all year and pulled out once or twice so no i dont think 11.65 is too bad

blown69rat 02-04-2006 10:38 AM

I agree, gotta love the bench racing, otehrwise I would be extremely bored.

Anyway, 383, I never said that your times were "bad", just you picking on someone and saying what you did when you yourself have nothing more than a modified motor with easy horsepower (n2o). I could build a similar motor and put juice on it, that easy and cheap!! BUT it takes a real man to get completely rediculous and go for the stars!!!!!!

Also, it is up to each individual person to do what they want to their car. It also relates to that said person's budget. I just have a larger budget but it also took me 9 months to acheive that budget. I think the best thing in the world is that each and every one of us out here has the right frame of mind in building...#1 an american car, #2 to do the mods that they can afford, #3 to do the mods that make their car "their car"

My car is far from a trailer queen, I drive it as much as I can. That being said, it does see the trailer a lot only because I don't have enough seats to fit myself, my 5 yr old son, and my 18 month old daughter in the car. Next car to be built...(which will be out in about 2 years)...can be a daily driver, will run respectable mid 10's, have enough seating for at least 4 if not 5, can compete at a car show, will NOT run n2o, can drive cross country without a hiccup.

bitchincamaro 02-04-2006 10:42 AM

yea well my next car....

heard that one before

blown69rat 02-04-2006 10:50 AM

In 20 years, I have built, owned, raced, wrecked, etc more cars than I care to remember. I think a lot of people out here have more than one car. One is a project being built, one is done, etc. I am in the process of building a g-body to do the things I mentioned above. AND, it's not my "next" car, it's just an additional one.

OneFast383 02-04-2006 10:54 AM

yeah N20 is easy Hp.... whats your blower? anyone with 3500 bux can supercharge there car... power adder is power adder..... N20...Turbo....Blower

blown69rat 02-04-2006 12:16 PM

True, a blower is easy HP also, but the difference is the bottom end. I can add nitrous to ANY car without it doing major damage, but with a blower, turbo, etc you have to be real careful.

OneFast383 02-04-2006 01:51 PM

nitrous cant cause damage? damn y did i spend all that money getting forged internals

misterjuice 02-04-2006 03:29 PM

blown69rat 02-04-2006 05:39 PM

I never said nitrous CAN'T cause damage, you are not getting my point. Nitrous can be added to ANY motor. With a blower, you can't just "slap" one on. Any forced air induction creates extreme amounts of pressure on the bottom end. I can slap a 50 shot on my chevy conversion van and it won't hurt a thing, pop a blower on it, KABOOM!!

That's my point, n2o is a poor man's hp adder IMO, BUT it is also one of the best ways to increase performance. My motor may be blown, but it is also set up to handle n2o!!

camaroracer1992 02-04-2006 05:40 PM

blown rat can step up to all those challenges i will vouch for that! anyone wishing to challenge should pony up some money for the track rental, and none of this "i work that day" ******** TAKE A SICK DAY!!

WayFast84 02-04-2006 05:58 PM

Slow 88 02-04-2006 06:47 PM

Brakes are over rated because my old Z went 127 mph on spray and I had no issues stopping with JUST the front brakes lol...just my 2 cents.....So, just go racing and prove your cars worthiness!!

you pay for the track rental and i will sit back and laugh at you. my vacation and sick days are already spoken for this coming year and i am not gonna spend a day not getting paid so that you PA smacks can lose to a bunch of jersey cars.
if you have balls to tell people to step up then you shoudl have balls to run in front of a larger crowd on a street night or regular weekend test and tune anyway.

:werd: I have to get an edgumacation, I have to save my sick days for the days I get my braces tightened  plus whats the difference if you loose to a 305 on a private rented track or a test and tune?

BigAls87Z28 02-04-2006 07:35 PM

Brakes? You know how heavy thoes things are? Just throw it into reverse.

(another attempt to derail this thread)

I belive that this N vs C vs S just went to NJ vs PA.

Slow 88 02-04-2006 08:27 PM

Wow!! I am feeling the love!! I see some good grudge runs coming out of this..

depends on what shot you got, the bottom end of my motor is built pretty well, and once i build a rear it'll see a pretty big shot. I was looking at prochargers for my "additional car". the p1sc they make for stock applications, they probably even make a bolt on kit for your chevy conversion van.

WayFast84 02-04-2006 09:35 PM

hijack

whats it mean to build or do a rear?

NJSPEEDER 02-04-2006 09:48 PM

basically he needs one with beefier parts in it so that he doesn't end up walking home.
