Yup

As has already been mentioned in this thread, tossing it in with a Mig shouldn't be an issue. Just thread an old spark plug into the bung while it's being welded on.

I know there is a guy right by me that does welding for about $40 an hour. If you really needed it done and want to take a ~40 minute ride I can give you his phone number. What needs to go into your car to get it to work?

WayFast84 04-13-2006 07:52 PM

ummm what are you talking about, i had my highflow cat and catback installed at a meinekee, they welded in a O2 bung no problems...

project89 04-15-2006 04:29 PM

places like that arent likely to only to weld in just an o2 bung,i already told him id do it for him if he got the stuff over to my shop

Mike 04-15-2006 09:36 PM

just delete emissions...... :) no bungs needed

foff667 04-15-2006 09:47 PM

I've had mufflex mig weld in 1/2 dozen bungs for customers...2 of them got screwed up but they fixed em for me within a couple of minutes...$30 which included the price of the bung/plug...if you'd like one welded in there let me know & I'll set up a day for you at that price.

do they have 02 extensions their?

and Im waiting for the bung and the extension to arrive. when its being welded with a mig I thread the plug into it all the way first right? not thread it in while welding? cause that would be a to person job.

lethal whens the closest time you can do this to me. cause Id like my car runing real soon, if not Ill just mig it my self.
