sorry should have said stock ported head 2.8
amnd the canted valve heads are a huge improvement over even wild ported stock heads |
stop messing around
|
just wait another week or so till the turbo motor is done, better yet read the 60* performance bible,on what a 2.8
with a good set of heads will make for power, there wa sactually somone running around with a mechanical fuel injection setup on a 2.8 with 12.5-1,huge cam,the canted heads making around 390 hp |
ok im not doubting you i'll just have to see it to believe it for myself. more power to ya dave!
|
ya just dont se alot of nice 60* motors runnign around cause it aint that cheap to build one,,and its alot easier to build a v8
lmao but **** it everyone takes a v6 camaro and drops in a v8,hell i almost did, till i decided to do something diff with this car should be fun though,im deff shooting for mid to low 11,s or better,@ 14 psi and the motor should be good for upto 21#'s if we can avoid detonation, and dont throw the crank out the bottom of the pan.im looking to take this motor a lil above 8,200 rpms the highest ive ever been able to make a 2.8 rev and live so far is about 7,600 due to valve spring issues |

|
Ok.
But.... you are building a turbo car and you want to run a nitrous car in the summer? Nitrous isn't affected by heat... turbo's are ;) |
wont bother me ,the motor is turbo/nitrous and ive got meth injection/co2 sprayer on the intercooler, car should run just fine,id run sooner of i could but im sure im gonna need that long to work all th ebugs out of the setup, and get it tuned right
