Nice story but ur a DUMBASS. First day u ahve ur lisecence. Nonetheless u have that restricted BS right? So heres the line up:
Racing
Speeding
Careless
u had another person in the caqr right?
/\ Reckless... those are just some of the point tickets u'd be getting. Nice on the restricted D.L. I'm pretty sure a judge would not be taking ur D.L away for the 6 mnth rule thingy but probably a couple yrs. Anyway. Be carefull homes. Like we all said. A 17 yr old's funeral would not be fun.

nick, was it white saleen?? if it was, it might have been my friend ryan's stage 2 saleen, which is good for almost 450 hp...the stage 4 has over 500 hp!!

ps- very dumb what you did...but i do remeber that first license day feeling...

qwikz28 05-01-2006 08:23 PM

hey if you know your limits then do as you please. once you start to push the limits of driving then thats a problem...

nick i think its more of learning what a car can do then how to drive it. when i was your age i did the same thing so i cant blame ya. i just got lucky, thats all. be careful and have fun buddy

congrads btw

point well taken from everyone.

like some of you said, most of you have been there and done that when you were a new driver. And it takes something like a close run in with the police to make you wake up and realize things.

slasherbarb it was a red saleen, I have to give it to him, the thing was pretty dam quick.

thanks for the congrats and I'm looking foward to finally meeting some of you guys and putting faces to names.

WayFast84 05-01-2006 09:19 PM

next meet!! when is it?

the first day i had my license i came home from takign the test and drove to my friends house, completely forgetting my glasses at home, which im required to have for driving. it shows you just arent thinking clear on your first day of driving yourself. and then the 2nd day i had my GTA, a month after i turned 17, i floored it making a left from a stop sign, gravel and said were on the road and i fishtailed 3-4 times, almost took out a telephone pole(or it almost took me out, lol) and stopped right before i went up a high curb. that taught me a lesson real quick and I wised up quite a bit that day.

Ok, I think he gets it guys....

Welcome to the fbody world. So...whats up first for mods?

Untamed 05-02-2006 10:30 AM

Yeah, Pot. Kettle. Black.

Even if the messages here weren't as understanding as you hoped, most of the clowns on this board drive stupid at least once a week. You got the point, hopefully you wont forget it.

Drive to work. Make money. Spend money for mods and track time. Live longer.

So like Al said, looking at any mods once you can stop the car long enough to put them on? :)

So far I've bolted up an slp loudmouth 1 cat-back, moroso cold air intake, jet skip shift eliminator, slp air foil, and a pro 5.0 shifter.

I had money aside for sub-frames but now that I had to buy a new windshield the subframes are being put on hold for a while.

subframes should be the first thing you do after the windshield

BigAls87Z28 05-02-2006 08:02 PM

Werd. SFC's work wonders.

IROCZBeast 05-02-2006 09:45 PM

Yea I've heard good things about subframes so thats definately next for me.

When I get a chance I'm going to take a ride down to TTP and talk to them about it, see what they reccommend and have them weld the subframes in for me.
