Let me clear this up. Here is a possible convo that could happen if this club didnt exist.

"Not much Ian, I wana go to the beach cause its really nice out."

"Yo Al, its Ian, I just called Liz and we wana go to the beach, you in?"

"This is space station, how may I direct your call"
"Commie!! Its Liz!! I wanted to know if you were gunna come down from space staion to go to the beach!"
"That is sounding awesome. I will take space station rocket ship to go to mother Earth."

ETC ETC!!! This is simple. We just go to the beach. It doesnt have to involve the club. In fact, the only way the club is involved is because we are all members of it, and have become friends with it, and we all have common interests, like going to the beach.

End of story, just go to the beach, lay our your towel, get sand in your ass, and go home burnt. The Mutha ****ing end.

al, have fun at the beach. i am not here to decide what your plans for any given day will be. i am trying to see if something can be put together for the WHOLE CLUB, not just something you may want to participate in.
so if something works out for the club that you choose not to participate in, that is your decision.

Hey look. I'm trying to pick a freaking date to do this, and hardly anyone has had any say in what we choose, except for justin and tim who have to go to NC. Wah wah. So I changed it again, and there haven't been any comments yet. It's almost buried, in fact. So we can either do this, or not. I see what Al is trying t say. The beach meet is to be more like the status of a Grease trucks meet. It's a meet, but there is nothing official about it. That's what he wants to do with the beach thing. Yes. I think it would be AWESOME if we all took our f-bodies (and fiero) there, because summer is about cruising in your f'n sports car with the roof off (sorry) and the windows down. But this doesn't have to count as the central meet. Or it can too, whatever. But it doesn't have to be totally glorifed. I don't see why we can all meet at like, Wawa in TR for like A COUPLE MINS just to meet up. Or make it like our own minir power tour, and then just all cruise together. Park whereever, and meet on the sand. Why is that so hard?

Problem is Liz, is that its not hard.
There is no need for a club thing to happen at the bach. Club things involve cars and food. Beach involves nothing but getting tan.

chill out. we'll have a meet/get together on the 24th whoever wants to come will show up. if not just stay home. we can meet at that Island place. everyone pays for himself we'll go from there. how about that?

al, this is not the first time that the idea of a club activity at the beach has come up this year. that is on top of the several times it came up last year and the somewhat lengthy thread that was posted in the support forum.
based on that i will repeat, again, that if we choose to or not to particpate in any potential club activity at the beach or anywhere else is entirely up to you. since several members have asked several times for a club meet at the beach, we intend to persue the idea and see what comes of it.
so have fun, call your friends, don't call your friends, do whatever you want. just please refrain from deciding what everyone else in teh club wants, especially when it is something that has been requested several times.

as for the beach "meet" i like the informal idea better then the formal idea but then again there could still be a formal beach meet. the thing is it would be kinda hard to get together for an informal meet unless we plan the date in advance... which shouldnt be a problem. i saw we go to ocean city :mrgreen:
