BonzoHansen 10-02-2006 08:19 PM

No it isn't.

ar0ck 10-02-2006 08:22 PM

84's suck anyway. 85 is where its at.

no, im saying that there are actually 3 houses in the pic, i didnt say the one on the left is the same house thing... oh nevermind. ive seen that pic before up on TGO i think, where did u find it? ask the guy

They are two seaparate residences. They're just similar colors and style but next to each other. One has brick and vinyl siding, the other has stone and stucco siding. The roofs even look to be slightly different colors to me.

However if the owner of these two houses happens to be just one person, thats a whole different story.

the two white ones are hard to tell from teh picture. i am pretty sure the pace cars were white over black and the anniversary cars were white over dark blue. my old eyes and the distance of the picture make it kind of hard to tell what the one in back is, one in front looks to be white over black and it definately has the bowling ball wheels of the pace car.
if the red car is indeed a formula350 with that spoiler it would have to be an 87. from 88-90 the formulas came with the larger spoiler, and 91-92 they came with the flat spoilers.
the shade of blue of the 4th car looks to be the carry over blue from the late second gens. i think it was just genericly refered to as dark blue. i am pretty sure they made it darker and started calling it dark maui blue in 86. that along with what appear to be 14inch fans lead me to believe it is an 82-85 base car.

if the red car was a true 87 350 car, it wouldn't have T-tops

I'f I can afford the type of house that is my dream house, I can afford a parking lot full of third gens.

Not that I'd have that many. :mullet:

87-92 you could get t-tops with the L98, but that would elimintate the WS6 suspension from the formula or trans am trim package. :)

Firebird67dude 10-03-2006 03:59 PM

Paul ur right. It two differant houses. They arent even connected. look at it closer. Also why would they hyave the bottom nice stone for half the house and the other half brick? Makes no sense.

Pampered-Z 10-03-2006 04:48 PM

You need a nice size front yard too,,,

ah, okay. I thought I heard somewhere that you couldn't get a T-top L98 car in 87. I guess I'm wrong once again

I heard same for 92..

Its to seperate building but it deffinatly belongs to the house...

Ill have to post on third gen..

NJSPEEDER 10-03-2006 06:28 PM

you could pick two of the three, L98 t-tops, or WS6. but you couldn't get all three. L98 + t-top firebirds are very rare because most people who got a L98 formula were performance minded and wouldn't give up the handling package :)
L98 + t-top Z28's are much more common because the top suspension was a seperate check box on the order form that was often left blank. WS6 was part of both formula and trans am packages from 87-90 that could either be flat out deleted or would get deleted by selecting certain option and option out groups.

WayFast84 10-03-2006 06:31 PM

how much lower would ws6 springs be from firebird springs? also what was different?

Tru2Chevy 10-04-2006 11:53 AM

I don't believe that the WS6 springs were lower, they were just a different rate.
