i met tim and justin at atco on the fathers day event they had there. tim handed us 100 bucks and a trophy for winning our class. join the next day and thats how i got here. the other sites i'm on were getting kinda stale with a lot of juvenile questions and post so i figured i'd give this site a shot. so far so good

TransAm619 10-11-2006 02:40 PM

I think at first I googled njfbody.com but when i lurked the board for a day or two, it was pretty dead so I didn't think much of it. Untill 1RawTA saw my car in Ridgewood where I worked at the time, and brought me out to a fudds meet with James, paul, boon & gene. So I got more into it and became pretty active.

Then when NJFBOA came along, Tim told me to come down to a Fudds meet one night where he unvailed the whole plan, I joined a week later after I came back from vacation. I still have one of the original flyers he gave us.

i started on thirdgen.org when i had my 88 GTA('97) and from there i started selling parts and stuck to the local northeastern boards mainly where i saw a link to NJFbody.com and i also saw a link of Ls1.com for njfbody as well. I signed up there and was only around for about 2 weeks before the NJfboa unveiling. Once i saw that, i came on over, and i was the 53rd member to sign up. lol and ive been here since.

Firebird67dude 10-11-2006 05:52 PM

WayFast84 10-11-2006 06:53 PM

On thirdgen, some one posted asking about a nj carclub, saw a link of njfboa clicked, joined. took like a month to get verified..could only pm..

BigAls87Z28 10-11-2006 07:01 PM

Mod/Admin of the "other site" and was told by Tim and Justin that this site was going to be created. I held together the other site, but there was no stopping the force that was NJFBOA!!
Fbody-interwebbing started in 2001 on TGO. Met up with a lot of north people, helped create Fbodychaos.com, that fell apart, then went onto several other sites like GMI, CZ28, LS1.com, and then on TGO a bunch of us met down in Depfort for a meet at some mall, formed NJFody.com

Ian 10-11-2006 07:34 PM

thirdgen.org, then I went to fbodychaos, then njfbody and now here. I'm in this for the long haul just like Al!

jimmyboy8301 10-11-2006 11:52 PM

i found out about it from one of Tim's posts on LS1tech.com last summer and then joined up and immediately started meeting al, koll, dennis, sonny, ant, and jim down in toms river.

dan 10-12-2006 12:04 AM

i was pointed here by anotehr member zeek who from what i can tell..doesn't post much, i just wanted somewhere to try selling parts i had laying around :) but hung around and lurk for the most part..

jbird99 10-12-2006 08:03 AM

randomly clicked the link on google one day, and voila here i am.

97transam 10-12-2006 10:34 AM

I posted about an event on CamaroZ28 board, the weight-nazi here told to do the same here...

The first time I met Tim at Atco many many years ago with his "look ma... no weight" third gen made me question what the hell was I doing at Atco on a Friday night for my first time to race....

I have since cross paths many times over the years with some of you at E-town, other events and Island recently. So I had to come over here and at least "lurk" to find out where the "fun" was going to be...

Plus I think the NJ board needed some token PA-pukes so that they can claim they are an "equal opportunity member organization".

dan 10-12-2006 11:33 AM

^us pa guys give this site credability :) lol
