I know of many different ways to make the car more legal, but its not a very rare car and wouldn't be worth the hassle in my opinion.

but there are other people willing to buy it and or borrow it, then do it..

Well, I need the front spring perches off the leaf springs. Maybe some other crap too.

Posting the full story about a car that "may" have been "borrowed" by a family member of his on a public forum would be pretty dumb.
