:werdmelissa:

im in love with your truck. can i marry it?

00sierra 12-07-2006 05:38 AM

2 and 2???? how do you figure? I beat you both times from a stop and we only raced once from a roll, and it wasn't even a good run....

bad64chevelle 12-07-2006 08:51 AM

Its hard to take it when a 6900 lbs truck can keep up with ya....i know i wouldnt be happy. I gotta admit that Jims car in the 1/4 MAY just squeek by with all the top end his car has, but I gotta wait till Kevins truck is all fully tuned first to make that decision.

Thats a totally different car Mike...alot more work done to yours than Jimmys. I would bet that Kevin will race though. :-)

Mike 12-07-2006 09:51 AM

my cars just a full exhaust and suspension car.....

bad64chevelle 12-07-2006 09:52 AM

its half a second faster than jimmys car.

jimmyboy8301 12-07-2006 11:17 AM

both rolls i beat you. and both 1/4 runs because it was so cold i was spinning throuth 3 GEAR. i wasn't catching traction untill well over 60 MPH. I'll run you again this weekend with my DR's.

I am not going to argue with you about this, Me, Mellissa, and that other kid ( sorry I don't remember your name, but the kid who was stuck ) know the truth. I no that your car is faster than my truck, but **** for my 8000lb truck to even come close to beating your car is pretty damn impressive.

For all who are interested, this Saturday, Dec. 9th Atco opens @ 10am for test and tune. We will race on the track and him on drag radials. Mellisa will hopefully be able to video tape it. I am just really curious to see how my truck runs, and after last night I think it will be a good run.

After we leave the track, I will be going to Chilis to celebrate, followed by going to jimmys house to continue, then nyc on sunday.

:stupid:

i just talked to scott from OK 4wd, he might come with us to test his chevelle. him and jeremy were gonna go sunday, but i think i convinced him saturday is better.

00sierra 12-07-2006 09:35 PM

sounds good to me, however I have a feeling jimmy will have to work, but either way we should still go

Hate to be the one to break it 2 you -- but the job you just got and the idea that your off to save someones life will all go up in smoke if you don't stop --- and re think the drinking and driving --- not funny at all when someone gets hurt -- ALL the young guys that have come through the shops, i have owned all of my life, have had too in their own hand writing -- give me what the news paper would have written about them, had they been in a drunken crash and someone might not make it as a result -- before we ever gave anyone a job, No one had too work for us many did, and most still come buy and say HI -- i know i was their and seen in the 60s with drinking and very fast street racing together -- re think it dude -- you will loose all that you might have become -- the reason all see a NO drinking driver going with you as the right thing to do -- jz
