Put the car away.
Read the books and do your homework. Go to hockey practice. Get off the internet. Thank your mother for taking care of you. Do these things and suddenly the world wont seem like it's breathing down your neck. |

OR instead of picking up airbrushing as YET another hobby, work on the car in the time you use to be on here.......it might run if ya do that |

the 3 wise men above me. |
Matt, one of the things I didn't appreciate until I hit my 30's... was just how wise my parents were when I was a teenage-know-it-all.
The only thing we can do, without actually sounding like your parents, is suggest you learn from our mistakes / regrets / wishes. The stuff I posted above can truly turn you around, whether you see that now or not. Sometimes you don't have to understand, you simply have to -do-. Check the anger at the door, man up and take the correct path, and just get through school first. Stay the course and you'll be smart enough (and still alive) to enjoy the things you envision yourself doing. At 15 you aren't going to make a ton of money as an auto mechanic - at 30 you won't earn a ton of money either. Life is a long journey, don't think for one second that you are even sure about what you plan to do or where you will end up. The only thing you should try to make happen, is finish high school and move on to college / tech school. That's your next stop, not a career job. On Monday, put a smile on your face, go to class, and stop day dreaming about the car and shop. Keep your mind on schooling and just get it done. If you can't do it alone, make friends with the academic types so that you start to get as interested in learning as they are. Trust me, being a nerd early on pays off well in later years. Good luck! |
didnt work, I suck

Matt ill give you a piece of advise, just concentrate on graduation man. everything else falls in place. take it from me, im a high school drop out, from age 16 to 19 i worked some of the worst jobs out there because i had no diploma. unless you want to work the night shift at the local shoprite for 7.50 an hour like i did at one point, get the diploma. my life didnt turn around until after i went back and got that piece of paper, now im a union electrician, working for a big company, working by myself as a foreman and making rediculous loot. and if you keep freaking out like that, your gonna end up in a juvenile detention, and guess what you still have to go to school in there, and the food sucks, and the judge will make you go to anger management and therapy for years. trust me i know from first hand experience
