i think itd be cool to maybe do a flame job or something cool like that in the engine bay... iv never really seen that done before and maybe a black on the bottom into flames and then green on top... idk just a thought. I figure if you're gonna pull the engine and paint it anyway, why not go balls out and do something that hasnt been done before...

i've seen a chromed engine bay before, and like all chrome under the hood, you really have to stay on top of it (polish) to keep it clean.

any other paint job would be just as difficult, IMHO, to keep clean as chrome, especially a flame job or something similar. it would just take too much time to clean, even if you keep up on it. imagine being obligated to clean your engine bay once a week, and it took two or three hours...

chrome or some other fancy dressing under the hood should be reserved for show-only-cars, the ones that never see the road.

paint it black. :mrgreen:
