On this day last year, I was in Barbados at the last port of our cruise. Now I'm stuck in this crap :(
F' this, had to shovel two times already, and probably gonna have to do a 3rd time.
Ah, the dichotomy that is March....

since my 2nd gen is my only car. i had to drive it to work (after callin and they said they'd be doing regular hours) in time to get there by 5. i get there and 15 mins into working. they announce they are closing at 6. its probably costed me more to drive there in this crap than they pay me!
i just made it home from work, we got about 5 inches of snow with 2-3 inches of sleet ontop of it, shoveled three times today so far
i got like 6-7 inches of snow and now theres probably another 3 inches of sleet on top of it...FTL
Still at work...for at least another hour. Im gunna give myself a free oil change.
Good thing today, was my manager called me asking if I was coming in to work. I told them yes cause I was, then she said, well if you call out we can close the store, so I was like alright guess im not comin in. :headbang:
jeep = teh fun in teh snow
This weather sucks. Right now it's ice/sleet by me. I can hear it hitting the windows. And driving back from work was a bitch on the Thruway. Used my mom's Concorde, which actually isn't bad in the snow. But, it took my almost 2 hours to get back.
We've been getting sleet for almost 14 hours straight now. It was sleet when I left for work before 8 this morning and it's still sleeting. I'm just glad it wasn't freezing rain. Sleet is actually not that bad to shovel otherwise we'd probably have a foot of snow.

Friggin rediculous. And a plow truck... I'm talking about one of the huge ones 1.5 times the size of a garbage truck, almost rear ended me by burger king in bergenfield. and then my dad's car got stuck in our driveway... overheated the trans for a sec rocking it back and forth... had to shovel the damn thing out. After it cooled down tho the CEL went away and the trans calmed down lol.
Looks like every thing has finally stopped.
haha taking ur works POS plow truck so u can get urself up ur gfs drive - priceless, till the brake line blew again(we smashed it closed last year lol) dropped the plow and used the snow bank to stop. then drove it 5 miles to my job to get my car lol
Just got done shoveling and chipping ice for the past 3.5 hours. The SS hood had about 6" of sleet packed on it and I couldn't even find the opening so I didn't want to start the car. I kept going because I wanted the sun to help melt and dry the driveway before it refreezes tonight. Got the ice and sleet cleared off the car and put it back in the garage.
Jeff, if you had said "I couldn't find the hole" that post woulda been a lto better.
So yea the MB reeeeeally needs tires. I spent around a half hour digging i out of the 20 ft it had to go to get out of the driveway... couldnt make it on ANYTHING |
