Thanks man. You are probably the first to see it.

I just got my Zaino in today, so assuming the wheather guy is wrong as usual and it doesn't rain as he says it will, I will be cleaning it up and taking more photo's soon.

CALL911 Very nice rare Bird. 4th gen WS6 Formies were made from 96-00. (Obviously LT1 in 96 and 97, and LS1 from 98-00) They stopped offering the WS6 package on the Formy due to low sales.

Sweet! I wasn't aware they only made 2 years of the LS1 Formula WS6's.

 Yes. Sorry for the confusion. They built them in 98, 99, and 00.

Naw, my math skills were at fault.

jola 03-29-2007 12:19 AM

Nice Formula! And a side note, thanks for not putting T/A anything on it.

I will keep it body wise as it came from the factory since it is rare. However, didn't GM make some Formula's with a T/A spoiler?

Actually it was the 94 base T/A and 95 T/A's that got the Firebird/ Formula spoilers. (The base 94 T/A got the low spoiler and in 95 it was optional)

The only Formulas to get T/A spoilers were the 2nd gens (optional). All 3rd gen Formulas shared the T/A spoiler as standard.

The only 4th gen Formulas to get the large T/A wing from the factory/ SLP were a handful of 97 Hawks.

However given the time since these cars were built it is not uncommon to see a T/A hatch swapped onto a Formy. (And personally I think it looks cool on some Formies too)

Good info. I have seen them before as well, but I just figured they came from the factory like that.

LMAO thats pretty much exactly what i was thinking...

nice A$$ WS6 Formy you got on ur hands there man! id def say that the only mods id do would be fast performance, and lower it an inch or two. keep the outside stock, besides thats like taking a firehawk and spray painting a paint job on it, it makes no freaking sense. take care of her. later

Swapping the hatch would be easy. Finding a big enough safe place to store the old hatch would be the hard thing.
