I'm actually heading down about 10am from the piscataway area off of River rd. I'll be taking rt1 and stopping at my buddies place which is more or less down the street from the school.

I don't want to park next to you...your car looks too nice lol. Leave me a spot or two open and I'll def park next to you ride.

West Windsor, NJ 08550

just checked the weather....looks like rain. This may get pushed to next weekend.

Yeah if it rains it will have to be next week I guess. But there are bigger shows going on next week too so this show may not do as well.

the hackettstown next week. Thats a nice ride ride man. I made it a point that my next ride will be a convertable.

I'll be there looks like the weather will be nice. Just look out for the 92 Teal bird with white racing stripes

Thanks for the compliments, the vert works for me but not race car material. That paint job looks nuts. Hopefully the weather will be good.

so how did the show go people?

Blackbirdws6 05-21-2007 10:48 AM

ehh not bad but was a small turnout IMO with about 30 cars. It was the first annual and not many people seemed to know about it so it could get bigger. Also not sure if the event over in princeton drew people away from this one since that one is usually pretty big.

The weather held out really well and it was blue sky and sunshine. Met some cool people and ran into some old friends from the area. The trophies awarded were for the most part kind of bogus. Couple cars won and it was justified in my eyes, but some of the others I really didn't get why they won. I wasn't the only person with this impression but hey, I go for the event, cars and people so no biggie.

Again, with more coverage and more people simple knowing about it, it could definitely grow.

I forgot about the rt 1 show – that does draw a bunch of cars every year. The MCCC folks should move theirs. No sense in competing.

Hey Brian was nice to meet you. I really liked that conv and I am definitely getting one at a later date. That other show really took away from the MCC show, but I enjoyed it none the less. Hopefully I see more people on the next one.
