What do you think "outlaw" means? It means that they work outside of the law. So what are more laws going to do? We need to stop worrying about helping other countries and protect ourselves and do whats in our best interest. Jake, you bring up a good point about how they are either citizens or here on visas. Does anyone know how hard it is to be allowed to come over here? He only said this because the swords were to protect their own mortal life, not Jesus' because his will was to die for our sins.

this was a figurative speech. Christ only spoke of a "spiritual" means of confronting an enemy. when Peter cut off the soldiers ear, Christ did not condone it, He rather retorted and said "enough!" the apostles were unable to grasp this. with the benefit of hindsight, we understand what Christ was saying because He did not condone the use of the sword when the soldiers came to subdue Jesus in Gethsemane. it's confusing indeed, but it all makes sense if you think of it in terms of figurative language.

Very easy to obtain guns. So making them illegal is not the answer. Taking the illegal one off the street is a better option.
