if you wanna get a few that dine on better stuff than sticks and underbrush, i could arrange a trip to my cousins farm in upsate NY. he bags some huge ones every year.

Looks like mostly cosmetic parts on the bike were trashed. Def let me know if you need a hand putting it back together. As for yourself and your rider, rest up and I got plenty of beer to take the pain away if needed. If the damn deer didn't die I would have walked over (if able to) and broken its freakin neck.

Holy crap j0n....what are the odds?

Glad to hear that you and your passenger escaped without any real serious injuries.

Very lucky - wounds heal and bikes can be repaired/replaced. Count your blessings.

After this I think he might just go after them with his bare hands.

j0n, I'm very glad to hear you and your passenger got through this OK. Before I clicked on the link I immediatly thought "I hope to F'ing God he didn't do this on his bike..."

qwikz28 06-21-2007 04:52 PM

oh man.... at least everyone is ok. keep us updated on the recovery. if you need a hand putting the bike back to 100% send me a PM. i did the same thing to my 4wheeler last year and i know how big of a pain in the rear it can be

DieselKickYoAss4Sure 06-21-2007 05:11 PM

Teds89IROC 06-21-2007 08:20 PM

1_Hot_SOM_WS6 06-21-2007 09:17 PM

WOW~! Sorry to hear about ur bike. As it has been said many of times on here...it can be replaced...you and the grl you were with can't! Glad to hear that you guys escaped with minor injuries....it all could have been much worse! Hope you feel better

slasherbarb 06-21-2007 10:55 PM

the Barbieri family is at your disposal if you need anything...something along the line of every deer in NJ catching some bizarre disease and they should all happen to perish from it...naturally of course

:NOTE: The preceding message does not in anyway indicate the one John Anthony Barbieri is in anyway associated with the so-called world of "Organized Crime." He is simply an Italian business man who simply likes to wear suit every where he goes simply to look his best in front of his peers, who, by coincidence, are also clad in suits of a similar nature, as they all feast on pastries and espresso and talk about their latest business ventures, such as strip clubs, betting houses, brothels, waste management, restaurants, automotive stripping and reselling, etc.

unstable bob gable 06-21-2007 11:25 PM

V 06-22-2007 05:03 PM

i just did an oil change on a 04 600RR today, honda has a very complicated way of mounting their fairings, but they seem to be solid bikes. congrats on getting those plastics... now gotta get the wheels. lol

enRo 06-22-2007 05:38 PM

I think a new nickname has been born for you: Mr. j0n deere lol

In all seriousness, I hope you and your passenger have a speedy recovery. Deers suck. And its weird, in PA, the deers know better than to cross the road. They actually wait for the car to pass by, then they look both ways and cross. Its amazing. I had it happen with me each time I went to visit someone in PA. And thats the truth.
