bringing this back up. my car won't start and i have to tow it tomorrow. any idea on how to get a car onto a trailer that doesn't move under its own power?

Go to Home Depot and buy a come-along and ratchet the car on. Takes a while but will get it done. Not too expensive IIRC either.

thats what i was thinking. never tried it though. i can't think of any points in the middle of the car so i may just do it from an a-arm

edit: all done. i found my AAA membership number and now its getting towed instead :)

Yeah, BTDT. I had to push a 4000+ lb Chevelle onto a 4 post lift- which doesn't seem like that big a deal but the TH400 had HD stuff in it that made it extra tough to turn.
