Sad to hear, man. It's something all us dog lovers fear. But it was the right decision. Just know he's in a better place.

Thanks everyone! Yeah he definitely is in a better place. The other two dogs are still trying to figure out what happened I think, they have never both been away from him for long. My black lab is starting to sniff around where he used to hang out, she doesnt have anyone to play with anymore :-) she would probably squish the cocker spaniel :lol:

i know how you feel jon, one of my three cats who was about 14 or 15 had cancer, she struggled with it for about a month and that was it :( hopefully everything will turn out well for your dog.

Very sorry about your loss. Like everyone else as said, he's in a better place, and I'm sure he'll be waiting for you at the bridge.

Thanks again guys, tomorrow will be a new and fresh day...I think the family as a whole is doing better than I thought, but the two other dogs still are unsure I think. Tomorrow will be reality for them though that he isnt coming back.
