Wawa "big nigs" are a cheap, cool, refreshing treat!

Blacdout96 09-13-2007 04:14 PM

its so wierd leaving jersey or the tri state area and not having a wawa around, like when I was in Cali or Conneticut, im waiting to go around a turn and see one, but alas lol. Id have to say I like their milkshakes, their sweet cream cheese filled pretzels, their cesaer salad wrap, and sometimes if im up to the challange, I order my BDSITUS ( best damn sandwich In The Universe Sandwich) I cant tell you the ingredients, otherwise it wouldnt be that unique, but heres the outcome of why its a challange, either theres something wiht the mixture in toppings iuse, or theres a chemical in the breaded chicken, but most times after im done it makes you want to fall asleep!!! like hardcore kind too. Wawa ftw.

Huh. That happens to me as well with some sandwiches from Wawa. I get real tired quick.

Blacdout96 09-13-2007 04:37 PM

well im glad im not the only one. thats funky

transamkid 09-13-2007 04:40 PM

north jersey=no wawas

but the quick checks and 7-11's arent bad

Stroked355Z28 09-13-2007 05:57 PM

I wish I had a WaWa up here, everytime I go to Wildwood or to Seaside I'm in and out of them atleast twice a day. One thing is they have a great Meatball sandwich, you would never believe, Wawa and meatball sandwich, but as an Italian who doesn't really eat other people's meatballs except a few, this one is great. Also, the fact that they are opened 24/7 makes it even better.

GP99GT 09-13-2007 06:29 PM

yeah north jersey has no wawas....but im going to wildwood tomorrow and you best believe i will go to wawa at some point this weekend

plus their gas is cheap

Within 10 miles of me there are about 11 Wawa's. I'm not a big fan :shifty: I only go there for the Wawa brand Lemonade. That is good Stuff and their Twistie donuts are bad

i hate wawa now only because when i used to listen to the doghouse with JV and elvis on 92.3.....there commercials were so annoying that they killed a good portion of my soul:cry:

Blacdout96 09-14-2007 01:24 PM

well I jsut went to wawa and pick up my awsome sandwich, but am I the only one that this happens to, or anybody else order a snadwich and threy forget to put like half the stuff you ordered on it? this happens to me every damn time i order this thing, and this time they forgot to put my sauces that go on it, so im real pissed!! the damn menu right in front of you tells you what to put on it, how can you forget a thing like that, and there was no line, no rush, lunch was over and it was dead in there. I usually have the tomatoe forgottne on there, no biggie, but my sauces, that draws trhe line, next time they forget something, someones gonna get their feelings hurt.

I wish we had Wawa this far north.....I go all the time when I am in Dover, De. My addicition is the chocolate shake and sweet cream cheese stuffed pretzel

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

reminded me of the SCHWETTI balls skit from SNL.

depending on location, wawa's meatball sammiches can't be beat. i usually have a small stash of meatballs in the freezer, seperated of course, into packs of 6, so i can throw together a meatball sammich when i want one. no stash? head to wawa.

unstable bob gable 09-14-2007 09:00 PM

I used to pump gas at a station that was next to a Wawa, and the guys I worked with were always out in the back smokin' woolies, then they would run over to Wawa for meatball sammichs. I always got a free sammich from them 'cause I did most of the work while they were smokin.'

haha good luck in wildwood, its the firemans convention this weekend lol

we have a few 7-11's and regular mini marts around here. there are TONS of dunkin donuts, i pass two in my four minute drive to work lol

jims69camaro 09-15-2007 06:44 AM

ok, we gotta stop comparing wawa to dunkin donuts. the only thing they have in common is coffee and donuts (wawa's donuts, btw, come from dunkin donuts). you can't buy a pack of smokes at dunkin donuts. you can't get a meatball sammich from dunkin donuts. ok? thanks, move along now. nothing to see here.

Kat 09-15-2007 06:58 AM

Not to mention, Wawa has better coffee!

bubba428 09-15-2007 07:39 AM

I work in a building thats is 100ft from a wawa and 200ft from a BK. so much for healthy eating

Brando56894 09-15-2007 05:18 PM

when i went up to william paterson it killed me that there werent any wawas around there. i was wawa deprived for 2 years....

I meant what was on the map, not what was listed on the left side. I think (most) people are smart enough to read the city name on the address of the listing anyway

Amen to that. DD used to have good coffee but not anymore. All of the ones I've been to recently burn the crap out of their stuff. I drink my coffee black so poor prep or beans really shows- no sugar or milk to hide bad taste.
