i hope you mean Crank also... btw an under drive pulley adds like 1hp at the crank lol

bad64chevelle 09-24-2007 10:02 AM

I think he was adding up what all the boxes told him...

foff667 09-24-2007 11:57 AM

We've seen people gain over 100hp in a few instances from a stock tune to a dyno tune using our product, does that mean if I tune Tim he'll be at 405hp with nothing else?

ps: yes I actually have seen this on severely out of wack calibrations in forced induction applications hehe

Like I said before it's his race to lose. If he doesn't screw up launching there's no way a basically stock SS is going to win. But, then again, that's why they race for real instead of bench racing :)

Everyone keeps saying SS.....it's a Z28. Not that there really is much of a difference once you add a lid and exhaust to the Z28.

The other fact that people are leaving out is that Gary has little to no drag racing experience, and Tim has well over 1,000 passes under his belt. Since this race will be going down on street tires, I think Gary might have some trouble putting that 425hp ( ) to the ground effectively.

Yeah but 900 of those passes were through an auto...it'll be a different story with the m6...he'll definitely need some work.

that sealed it. you will definitely lose now.

JerzLT1 09-24-2007 05:26 PM

just remember, its not the faster time.... its who gets to the end first

Icemansghost 09-24-2007 05:46 PM

I added seafoam to my crankcase and fuel today hopefully it blows all the crap out by wed....

Frosty 09-24-2007 05:51 PM

You added it to the crankcase? Ughhh dude, change your oil like now!

You don't want that **** sloshing around for a while. I'd change the oil ASAP

Icemansghost 09-24-2007 05:51 PM

This is exactly whats goin to happen!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u95pODtowck

Icemansghost 09-24-2007 05:56 PM

Its in the heads. I put it through the pcv and the brake booster line.

I meant the top end

Mike 09-24-2007 06:00 PM

you can put it in the crankcase, you just have to change the oil after about 100 miles..........theres a writeup on tech that does it in the gastank, vaccum line and crank case.......

Icemansghost 09-24-2007 06:02 PM

The corvette forum said a little bit could be added to the crank to get water out of the oil. But I added the rest in the fuel. None went in the oil.

I was told it works really really good.

Mike 09-24-2007 06:03 PM

yeah you dont have to do all 3 steps.
sooo you wanna race your 425hp vette against my bolt on fbody after you beat tim?

Icemansghost 09-24-2007 06:08 PM

I might just pick up some street slicks and have them installed by wed...By the way Me and Tim have a round two already planned. Im going to have new heads put on, a ls6 intake, a stall speed converter put on and a z06 rear end.

JerzLT1 09-24-2007 07:27 PM
