haha yeah you do, i can use some jackstands for one day while i install the hotside parts and weld the exhaust piping into place.

Whoo hoo, today I received the final parts for the setup: all v-band clamps, all new header bolts, wrap, and sillicon connectors and t-bolt clamps, only things left are custom shape and weld my intercooler piping and tap oil, final stages before i throw it all together !

ar0ck 01-15-2008 03:27 PM

I'd like to see an updated picture, and if you could put a local newspaper next to it with todays date.

Mike 01-15-2008 03:28 PM

lets see some new pics.......you still havent shown us the best part, the damn turbo

GrandmasterCow 01-15-2008 03:38 PM

I'll get pics in a lil bit, once it stops snowing. I do have to wrap the power steering lines, as with most PTK hotsides, you can boil the power steerign fluid. now i can either wrap or go synthetic (synthetic has higher boiling point), havent decided yet.

GrandmasterCow 01-15-2008 03:55 PM

haha yeah man, its gonna be nice. i'm tapping for the drain underneith the front timing cover, that way i can stick a rag on the other side of the oil pan on the inside to catch shavings. i also have to redesign my PCV system w/a catch can.
