We did it in the back gym, but ours was intense too. Everyone had bruised shins, one kid had to get surgery right under his eye because he got hit with a puck there, and there were plenty of bruises in other places as well - back, stomach, certain other areas....We broke sticks, there was the stupid vinyl pads on certain walls but we checked people into all of them.

man you guys are lucky. When I was in highschool it was unheard of to even mention dodgeball while in gym class :(

The Middle School was HELL! Those kids are out of control and don't care. I only had to sub for half of the day and the last 2 classes (other was lunch duty) were absurd. I fear for our future with these kids. I was paired up with a Student Teacher who I knew from High School and she was very helpful but I could tell she had had enough. Even had to send a kid out of class.

If you think the High School is bad it isn't. Sure you have some troubled kids but like any High School aged kid, they just want to get out of there. They know that if they screw around to much their High School career will just get longer and they want nothing to do with that. They were a breeze!
