my thoughts- Do like Justin said, get the car, tune it up then run it at the track to see where it stands. then, find out whether its going to be a street/strip car or more track dedicated. do whatever free mods that are out there, CAI, full exhaust, ET streets, stall converter at least in the 3,000rpm range, theres always weight reduction too. those are in no particular order really.
