Maybe if NJ was in Ontario...
|
Many, but not all, NJ Devils fans are fair weather fans. The seats will get filled if they are having an exciting season. With the start the team got, and the prices of seats in the new arena, its tough to convince people (in this economy and state) to spend that kind of money seeing a mediocre team. You can look at the stats and see them in 6th place, separate from the top teams by only a win or three, yet they don't give off that spark of excitement.
I'll continue to watch the team through thick and thin, on FSN and MSG, without traveling to the Prudential Center. Someday I'll get there, but I'll likely travel without my family - way too expensive. |
No one in there right mind is going to pay to go to Newark to watch a team trap

we get the lead and just keep the puck from the other team.. that's why we've had 6 games where we've scored 6+ points |
No, i havent and Im not going to
|
I pay to see the team in Newark.. but I'm not in my right mind :D
Held seasons for many years up until this year worked a 10 game pack wasn't going to blow that kind of money when I knew work would not allow me to get there remotely on time. I'll tell you what though, the black VIP club seats are awesome. Past that, the arena still has an unfinished appeal with white walls, and I would have been much happier continuing to go to continental since it was 5 min from the shop. And yes NJ Devils fans suck. I like going to the other NY arenas for the crowd, and just to cause trouble... |
i went to the devils game the other night vs Carolina and i wasnt allowed to wear my Rangers Jersey (rightfully so, i got cooperate seats) and i felt like a devils fan...made me feel a little sick
but i did meet Ken Daneyko |
