All I have to say is... Yes. Simply, yes.

Im pretty sure they gave Eli the MVP award for that last drive, evading three pat lineman, and throwing a pass that was caught with the guys helmet. Awesome. I was stunned.

trashman01 02-03-2008 09:43 PM

pats o-line wasnt there for 95% of the game. look out next year

JL8Jeff 02-03-2008 09:51 PM

I think I enjoyed this game more than any other Super Bowl because the Giants were in it, they won, they beat the previously undefeated Pats and I stayed home and didn't have any obnoxious people get in my way! D@m, I don't feel like going to work tomorrow and the keg is still flowing!

For what another fawkup?

BigAls87Z28 02-03-2008 09:52 PM

They did everything they needed to do
They slammed Brady non stop
They kept Eli off the ground
They used all thier wepons
and what made them lose the last time, was that they played all 4 quaters. You could see that teh d-line was starting to get tired in that last touchdown run for teh Pats.
They shut down Moss, they shut down Brady's air attack, they did exactly what they had to do.
This is the same team where Eli was gunna be back up for a European football team, where the Coach was said to be looking for a new job 3-4 months ago.

sweetbmxrider 02-03-2008 09:54 PM

brady also threw some terrible passes. but that last possession was a little nail biting.

r0nin89 02-03-2008 09:58 PM

I think some people just have trouble coming to terms with the Giants rising up like that.

Hell no I'm happy as hell and this is coming from an Eagles fan. I'm suppose to despise them but I came to terms with the fact that they deserve it no matter how much I'm going to turn around and boo next year.

Just got home from a party and i am still celebrating here at home...

But all I have to say is this...to all the nay-sayers who talked **** about Coughlin and Manning and how the Giants stood no chance, should all pucker up and kiss some ass!!! Not only did they go 7-1 ON THE ROAD this regular season, they were ranked 5th in the NFC and written off every game...especially by those FOX ********...but this is just an example of you never know...you never know, on any given sunday a team like the Giants, like the 67 Jets, like the 01 Patriots, will come up and surprise the **** out of you...now if you will excuse me, i gots some celebrating to do, and some suicide checks to make on my Patriot fan friends...

Hey Slim, it was the 69 Jets, not the 67 Jets.

Ian 02-03-2008 11:16 PM

the giants definitely earned that one!

Huge congrats goes out to Shaun O'Hara. graduated from Hillsborough High School, went to Rutgers without a football scholarship, didn't get drafted, walked on to the browns I believe and is now the 3rd Hillsborough graduate to win a Superbowl!
