I know Its a G code

There was no factory 2 barrel carb v8 3rd gen.

The G vin code was for an L69 car (hopped up LG4), both used the CC Q-Jet....

trashman01 02-10-2008 07:19 PM

the LG4 and the L69 motors were both 4bbls, i beleive E is L69 and H is LG4, F is LB9 and 8 is L98

86FIREBIRD305 02-11-2008 07:49 PM

quick question, i just got one of those in trunk, leather tonneau covers with none of the clips for the car. what do i need to get? can anyone spare extras? how much?

deadtrend1 02-11-2008 08:11 PM

there are small roundish female-style square hole recievers (best description of them that i can give) that screw into the sides and allow you to "clip" the cover onto the sail panels.

Then there are two holes in the plastic on the trunk deck that the cover clips onto when you entend it.

86FIREBIRD305 02-12-2008 06:00 PM

great, do you know ayone who has them for sale

baddest434 02-13-2008 02:55 PM
