currently reading "ninja" by eric van lustbader
Tried that one years ago but couldn't get into it despite how cool ninjas are. Right now, just plowing through my newest issue of Jp magazine (Jeep mag). Just finished Patterson's "Mary Mary." Good read. Goes fast, just like all of Patterson's Alex Cross books.

Lustbader's books take a long time to develop, and seem to require an understanding of Oriental culture. While the main character is gaijin, there is a very Eastern bent to the whole development of character and story. Action scecnes are few and far between. I read Ninja, White Ninja, Black Heart and The Miko. His writing style is definately not for everyone.

Having said all that I am currently reading Metal Hammer magazine. 8-)

sometimes i have more of an interest in fiction books, and i have quite the collection including books by stephen king, john grisham, david balducci, john saul and dean koontz.

LOL.

That holley one can be a bit of a boring read, but compared to the Rochester Carb book it's an edge of your seat novel. I'm running through it now.
