dude, she meant newish to the site to have seen some old posts, she did NOT mean you are new to racing, or that being new is a bad thing... simply that there were posts you couldnt possibly know about in the time you have been a member that would have affected the comments you made in that thread.

I can't say anything that hasnt been said already. I never said new to racing in the other thread I only meant new to the board, as Mike said. You've been a member since November, in the grand scheme of things, that's new here. I never have made and never will make personal attacks, and I really don't appreciate them. Anyone who wants to be a part of the rental is more than welcome.

yep i need to tune my new fuel system set up and will need more than 2 or 3 runs on a regular test and tune day. i would of thought that there was more interest for this but we still have 3 weeks about so i am sure the list will grow enough to be able to do it. if not its a couple of test and tunes then dive into the race days.

OK, I'm trying to fill up the list by offering it on my forum at islanddragway.com, the date will be the 18th, and I will need 20 people confirmed in order for it to be $110/car.

Rental is on for 4/18, 1 lane, glued to 1/8 mile. Total due for each car is $110, assuming we get the full 20 cars. I am posting it and keeping track of attendance here..

The best way to do in lieu of putting down a large deposit, will be to have EVERYBODY send me a check or money order for $110, with the understanding that if we do not get the full 20 cars, the difference will be due the day of the rental. The TOTAL due for the rental is dependant on car count, so if there are only 15 people, the total due will be $1500 (1 lane) + $300 (prep) + $150 (add'l 3 people after 12) = $1950 each person will have to pay an add'l $20 ($1950/15 = $130)
