Im 19. My parents really wernt a big part of my life and after 15 they were almost non existent.
At 17 I still knew not to do 100 in a car with 3 other people PERIOD. If I were all alone and felt that the road was suitable to do an excess of 100 I still wouldnt do it unless it was an emergency. More than likely these kids parents told them not to do such things before, but they chose not to listen. They could have been drinking, maybe trying to be cool but what ever it is they decided not to listen. Its far from the parents fault it really becomes more of a social draw to do stupid things that makes these kids think their cool. |
That had to of been mommy or daddy's 2008 Toyota they destroyed. Theres no way my 17 year old kid would be out with my car that late.

the Pulaski Skyway carries four lanes of U.S. Route 1/9 for 3.5 miles (5.6 km) between the far east side of Newark and Tonnelle Circle in Jersey City, passing over Kearny.

You gotta realize he was just a kid (17) and should have used better judgement. Common sense should dictate ones actions but thats not always what happens. Unfortunately this kid used bad judgement and ended up paying the ultimate price. We've all done stupid **** in our lives and fortunately got away with it. Not everyone is as lucky. Feel bad for the friends and family of the lost ones, The two others better start goin to church cause they got lucky.
