Thats strange my light never came on when i yanked the computer and wireing.

My engine temp sending unit isnt plugged in so the SES light goes on when I put the car in gear. At idle its not on.

The car still runs without the computer hooked up? If so maybe if I just disconnect mine problem solved right?

I pulled all the computer stuff - went to a large cap HEI (non-computer controlled) and a Holley 750 carb. If I still had the stock setup it wouldn't run at all.

Mine's on. I think its on for random misfire, but i still need to hook it up to the scanner to see the real reason that it is on.
