what the heck... lol... My car is a 2001 Camaro SS. I bought it in August of 2001 and it was stock for the most part Up until August 2005 at which time the motor went. As of now the car currently has a '03 ZO6 crate engine with an aftermarket camshaft and upgraded valvetrain. Fueling is aided by a ported TB and larger injectors. Theres also a TSP airlid and QTP LT headers leading into an ORY and magnaflow catback. Suspension consists on UMI 3 point subframes, Spohn adjustable chassis mounted TQ arm, adj. tubular rear control arms with spherical rod ends, adj. panhard bar, BMR lca relocation brackets, Intrax front lowering springs. It still has the stock 3.42 size gearing, just by means of a 3rd rear axle since new. Chassis stiffness is also helped by a Wolfe 6 point roll cage. Appearence wise, the car has HIDs, and export taillights along with the european rear bumper. There currently is no stereo or sound system anymore in this car. I also have a Procharger setup ready to be installed any day now. |

Rich Michal 2002 trans am ws6 I bought the car December 26th 2006 as a Christmas present to myself. It was bought from a dealer in Pa who got it as a trade in from an older gentleman who had a stroke (I only found this out because the car was missing the owners manual and extra keys so I contacted him personally). Current mods include a few bolt ons such as a lid, exhaust sway bars, etc. Future mods include lowering, tint, a 3400 stall, and possibly a cam and 12 bolt for next year. This picture was taken by Alex. |

I'm Chris and I purchased my 67 Camaro about two years ago and have been going through the car undoing all of "short cuts" previously limiting the ride and performance. Having recently undergone body work there wasn't much to do there, but the previous owners rebuilt 327 engine needed some attention. The 327 has a Edelbrock performer manifold with a 650 CFM Holly an a high duration cam. The engine was professionally tuned at Woody's Creative Automotive in Bangor PA and also added some Headman headers going through a Magnaflow 2.5" exhaust. The car has a Hotchkis total vehicle suspension that lowered the car roughly 2" in the front and 5" from the Hi-jackers that were previously in the rear. I have also added Scat racing seats with custom frame rails that lower the seat further to help hold me behind the wheel when having some fun with the new suspension.

SWEETBMXRIDER FTW out of the 4th gens.
Ted FTW out of the 3rd gens. |
I also want to let everyone know, that when cropping your photos, if you want it to be considered for a CALENDAR submission later this year, leave room around the car on the sides of the picture. The aspect ratio from the calendar is much different than the regular 3:2 that most cameras are.
An example, SteveOnes is close, but even that might be a little bit tight. |
...ill try a bribe... if i win... NJFBOA members drink free friday....

Haha, gotta love it. I actually took pictures of my car specifically for August's car of the month, and then what happens....it becomes a month with probably the most submissions ever...no fair! haha. Vote for me...let me know if your car looks that good when it has 176K miles on it.:-P
