i can change our max players if interest stalls before the draft, we do need an even number of players though

I like a lot of teams!

I know I won't pay enough attention so I'm dropping out.

most leagues have 2 qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, 1 te, 1 k, 1 def, with 20 teams there most certainly is a lack of qb's rb and wr's. I hate playing in leagues with more then 10 teams.

Sometimes you get to be the bug....sometimes you get to be the windshield.

You might score on a QB, but get a 1/2 a$$ RB.....or a WR that goes out early in the season.....that's what trades are for....plus there are BYE weeks that help thin out the 'holdings', so to speak....

I auto picked my players for my other league and missed the draft and STILL got a dang gone good team...(but we break down the defense 8-))

We got 16 now. My brother-in-law was interested so I invited him.

why are you so down on this? is it because there won't be enough available players? 19 does seem like more teams than is necessary. i'd rather see a qb that didn't get picked than how many teams have to settle for second stringers...

no i just see about 1/3 of the people having dead teams. And they will have like peyton manning, and chad johnson type players. LOL

since yahoo takes 4 teams to the playoffs it would be cool if they devided a 20 team league into 4 divisions and pulled the division leaders....but they dont

so some people are going to have dead teams meaning they will lose all of the time and lose interest in the game and stop playing? yeah, i see that happening, too... but i've seen it happen with a small amount of teams, too, and people just leave because they lost interest in the game.

i used to just log in once a week, but now they've got games on thurs, fri, sat, sunday and of course monday night. i guess i could still do it once a week, but with so many games going on, you have to stay on top of it to see if someone got injured or whatever. so it takes more participation, and i guess you really have to be into it in order to make it to the end.

I joined up. Quick question...why is the draft at 4:30pm on a tuesday afternoon??? arent people still workin at that time (like me)???

to get the even number of teams you can just put in a dummy team after all the players have been picked so you dont have any one with a bye week everyweek. just an idea.

if its at 4:30 its a yahoo f-up, it should be 7:30

yahoo wont even let us draft with an odd number of teams

the clock on your yahoo must be set to pacific time, its set for 7:30pm eastern

Has any time limits been set for the draft? i.e. How long you have to make a pick, or how long the draft is scheduled to run?

no clue, those werent options for me to change

i believe you get 1 min 30 seconds to make your selection otherwise the computer selects the highest ranking player by yahoo for your team.

yeah and even then it takes 10 seconds for the program to make the pick LOL like it's thinking about it.
