I have it and it was good, different setting, its a cross-country race and whoever killed the most people and was the last driver standing won. It was a little corny as it was made in 1975, but still good. I haven't seen the new movie, but I don't think the old one will match up to this new one because the cars and plot seem better. The girls look hotter in this version too, the old one however has some hot chicks for their time though and the old one has gratuitous nudity, ha ha. Might go see the new one this week, then I'll be able to judge better, ha ha. -Jeff.

nudity is good.

movie had the exact same concept as "the condemned" only instead of running around on the island killing each other on foot, they did it in cars, so it was slightly cooler.

Neck snapping is cooool. Mustangs are not so cool. But guns on mustangs are ok.

rockets on trucks is cool

And then a giant gas tanker with guns and spiky things for killing hot asian women. Strange... I wanna know why they didn't just blow up the mustang at the end.

saw it this past weekend..i was throughly entertained. i do enjoy most of jason statham's movies, but this is definately one of his better ones. fantastic action and chase sequences with the cars. i would definately recommend checkin it out. its pretty much a cross-blend of The Running Man with Arnold (1987) and The Condemned (2007) with Stone Cold. Both solid, fun action movies, so if you dig those, ull dig this.
