lol. thanks for the funny responses.

as for what i said about josh, its over, get over it, you can talk **** behind my back in the basement all you want. In the end your still the ones wasting your time talking about me, on the internet....

so $3500 thats not that bad if I get real tight with tuition money, thanks!

edit

heres my beat ass interior...

wow, it needs some plastics, and a dash, its ****ing trashed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hmmm...well your reputation on this site is pretty bad and that's coming from someone that has only been a member for 6 months. My suggestion would be to list it on LS1tech under a different username so that you have a better chance of selling the car.

As much as I am resisting, or want to... I'm not picking on you really (for once) when I say this... just put it on craigslist with what YOU think you can get for the car, and sell it to someone who doesnt know that it caught fire, fell off jackstands and had some neat explosion or soemthing and all that oldie-but-goodie stuff. Keep in mind fuel costs, upcoming weather, and condition when pricing yourself.

I am being serious, not busting balls. These are questions people will ask and you should know the answer.

What compression ratio is the motor? What are the cam specs?

I have had several conversations with you about your mystery shortblock. We all know it's a 400 with vortec heads. That's hardly much info. Is it stock bore? Miles since rebuild? Factory or aftermarket parts inside? You don't know (unless you have had it rebuilt and didn't say anything to anyone).

A mystery 400 block in an '84 'bird isn't exactly worth a bunch of cash.....

The issues with your car are well documented on various forums Matt. You don't know what kind of shape the major components of the engine are in, referring to the long block, and the rocker failure is just one more example of that.

The paint job is garbage by your own statements and crying about some scratch that you blamed on Josh. The interior is also very very tired looking, maybe you got a good picture of it, but the marks all over the plastics and the floppy lookin broken down seats count as a whooped interior in my book.

You asked the question and true to form, now you wanna cry about the honest answers you get. Maybe if you had asked questions and listened to half of the honest advice you were given from day 1 you would have a running car with less than half the money tied up in it.

Now I am sure you are all offended.....again.... and you are going to quit the forums....... again...... and tell everyone how you will never come back here.......... again.

Enjoy

That's my point as well.

WAYFAST FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY LEARN WHAT YOU ACTUALLY OWN. OTHERWISE PEOPLE WON'T PAY YOU WHAT IT'S WORTH, THEY WILL PAY YOU WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE IN THEIR EYES: THEY WILL ASSUME EVERYTHING IS IN CRAPPY CONDITION.

Which is a high mileage stock 400 with Vortec heads, aftermarket induction, a Th350 with a stock converter, a **** rearend, and the like.

If you want top dollar you need to prove it deserves top dollar. Only the dumbest buyers will "take your word for it" and they are few and far between at the caliber you need.

If you don't like the answers you get don't ask the questions you little punk. Luckily I wasn't around on the board for the month **** went down with you or else I would've given you a piece of my mind then. You're a scumbag who got cut a great deal and **** on the person that helped you out.

But enough of that, this thread is about that. You're better off putting it on TGO or craigslist...maybe even Ebay. I think if you list it for $3500 you'll get close to that provided the car is running ok.

BonzoHansen 09-23-2008 08:52 PM

Enough. Matt, you got your answer, I think.

I don't know what kind of responses you expected, especially given the tone you set.
